Repostit Isn’t Posting: Check These 6 Things
Updated Oct 22, 2026
Most “Repostit isn’t posting” cases come down to one of six things. Work through them in order; each takes under a minute.
1. Is every account still connected?
Open Connections. Every account in the workflow should show Connected. Some apps show how long access lasts (“Token expires in 3 days”); reconnect before it runs out. Changing a password on the app can disconnect it.
2. Is the workflow active?
In Workflows, the Status column should say Active. Inactive workflows don’t publish.
3. Is it on Manual?
On Manual, Repostit collects your posts and waits for you to approve them. Click View Content to publish waiting items, or switch the workflow to Auto.
4. Has enough time passed?
- Future workflows publish new posts within about 2 hours of you posting on the source.
- Existing workflows publish your back catalogue on a schedule, up to 5 posts a day.
- A Future workflow ignores anything posted before it was created.
5. Did an app limit kick in?
Each app limits how much tools can post per day. On TikTok in particular, see spam_risk_too_many_pending_share, reached_active_user_cap and daily posting limits. On the trial, you have 10 posts in total: see what counts as a post.
6. What does the failure say?
Open View Content on the workflow. Failed items show the reason the app gave. Then use the guide for that app:
- TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels
- X, Threads, LinkedIn and Pinterest
- Items stuck in processing
Still stuck?
Open Support chat in the app and tell us the workflow name, the post and what you see. We’ll take it from there.
