Connect Threads to Repostit

Threads is a destination in Repostit: you can publish your TikToks, Reels, photos and carousels to Threads. You can’t use Threads as a source yet.

Connect your Threads account

1. In Repostit, open Connections and click Add Connection.
2. Choose Threads.
3. Sign in with the Instagram account your Threads profile uses and approve access for Repostit.
4. The Threads account appears in Connections as Connected.

Keep the connection active

Threads access expires after a while. Connections shows how long is left (“Token expires in 27 days”, for example). When it gets close, reconnect Threads from the same screen so your workflows don’t stop.

What to know about posting to Threads

• Text: up to 500 characters. Longer captions are shortened.
• Video: up to 5 minutes; vertical 9:16 works best.
• Photos and carousels: supported. Choose Photos & carousels as the content type in your workflow. See reposting photos and carousels.

Use Threads in a workflow

Go to Workflows → Create New Workflow, choose your source (for example Instagram or TikTok), select Threads as a destination, and create the workflow. Start on Manual and check the first post on Threads. More ideas: how to post your TikToks on Threads.
