Connect Google Drive and Dropbox to Repostit

Updated Oct 22, 2026

Google Drive and Dropbox let you keep copies of your content in your own cloud storage. They work a little differently:

Google Drive Dropbox
Role in Repostit Destination only Source and destination
Typical use Automatic backups Backups, or posting videos you drop into a folder

Connect

  1. Open Connections → Add Connection.
  2. Choose Google Drive or Dropbox, sign in and approve access.
  3. The connection appears as Connected.

Where your files go

Repostit saves copies in your account, never in a shared Repostit drive. On Google Drive the default folder is Repostit/Backups, and you can pick another folder for each backup. Your originals on TikTok, Instagram and the other apps are never changed.

Next step

Set up an automatic backup: back up your videos to Google Drive or Dropbox.
