Back Up Your Videos to Google Drive or Dropbox
Updated Oct 22, 2026
A Backup copies your content to your own cloud storage automatically: everything already on the account, and every new post from now on. It’s insurance against a banned account, a deleted video or an app shutting down.
What you can back up
- From: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or Pinterest.
- To: Google Drive or Dropbox.
Set it up
- Connect your cloud storage first: connect Google Drive or Dropbox.
- Open Backup in the sidebar.
- Choose one Source Platform account and one Cloud Destination.
- On Google Drive, keep the default folder Repostit/Backups or pick another one.
- Create the backup. Repostit copies your existing content, then keeps adding new posts.
Your originals stay exactly as they are. Copies go into your storage, never a shared Repostit drive. Backing up several accounts? Create one backup per account.
Check it’s working
Open the folder in Google Drive or Dropbox after a few minutes and confirm your videos are arriving. A large back catalogue can take a while to copy.
