Connecting Your Instagram Account to RepostIt #
To use RepostIt with Instagram, you’ll need to have a Professional Instagram account.
Instagram Account Types #
Instagram offers two main account types:
- Personal Account – For non-commercial use
- Professional Account – Choose between Business or Creator (Influencer) profiles
Why a Professional Account? #
Instagram only allows third-party applications like RepostIt to connect with Professional Accounts.
How to Switch to a Professional Account #
If you currently have a Personal account, you can easily switch:
- Go to your Instagram Settings
- Select “Switch to Professional Account”
- Choose either Business or Creator based on your needs
- Follow the prompts to complete the setup
Important Notes: #
- You can switch back to a Personal account at any time
- Switching account types does not affect your existing content, followers, or account data
- Professional accounts provide additional features like insights and promotion tools
